So this is my little spot to post about books I'm reading, sites I'm digging, places I'm going (or not going to but so wish I was), and music I'm adoring.
2/7/2015 MUSIC...has anyone heard of Maisey and Lennon? I just saw a clip of them on Facebook and they are sisters with the most amazing voices. It seems they are also actresses on some show I've never heard of but trust me you need to google them cuz they have the best voices and sing some awesome cover songs.
2/7/2015 The hubs bought me both Andy Cohen books for christmas, "The Andy Cohen Diaries" and "Most Talkative". If you enjoy all those trashy shows on Bravo, then you'll enjoy these reads. I also picked up a book to keep me entertained on the plane for our recent Disney World vacation. It's titled "Lies You Wanted To Hear" by James Whitfield Thomson. So far I'm liking it. An easy read and it started out slow but I'm starting to get into it around 100 pages in.
5/11/2014 Books I've recently read: A Fault In Our Stars by John Green, it was pretty good-a little "Nicholas Sparks"ish. And now it's being released as a movie. I say, always read the book before you see the movie, but that's just me. I also read Brandi Glanville's second book "Drinking and Dating" which was good and gossipy and definitely one of those guilty pleasure kind of books...much like my guilty pleasure addiction to reality t.v. shows.
Movies: I recently saw The Other Woman. I was so looking forward to that movie. Looked like it would be hilarious but in all honesty, I think I was a little disappointed. It was good but more like NetFlix good, not girls night-theater worthy good. Does that make any sense?
2/16/2014 Maybe its a little trashy and lets be honest, its definitely not educational but I just purchased a book on my Nook app by Brandi Glanville. Its her first book Drinking and Tweeting. I just started reading it yesterday evening and so far its definitely gossipy, chock full of cuss words, and dare I say it...entertaining. By entertaining I mean that if you're like me and obsessed with all the Real Housewives shows then yep, you're gonna like it! Thank me later!
